When Did I Know I Wanted to Be a Realtor?

Back in 2020, my journey to becoming a Realtor began with one of the most emotional experiences of my life—watching the sale of my childhood home in Culpeper. This was the house where I grew up, surrounded by neighbors who became lifelong friends, where the laughter of childhood echoed through the halls, and where every corner held a memory. It wasn’t just a house; it was HOME.



As we prepared to say goodbye, I found myself deeply involved in the process. I watched as Realtors brought potential buyers through the door, showing them the space that had been filled with so much love and joy. I wanted to tell them all about the magic within those walls—my bedroom where I spent countless hours dreaming, the yard where we played until the sun went down, and the kitchen that hosted endless family dinners. I realized then that I didn’t just want to sell a house; I wanted to help people find a home.

After that experience, I was determined to learn everything I could about real estate. I took my real estate classes at the end of 2020 and passed the class with a 92%! But instead of jumping right in, I chose to immerse myself in the behind-the-scenes work, joining a title company where I gained invaluable experience and built wonderful connections.
